A Wonderful Start to 2010!

In an attempt to give my sister who lives in Dallas more time in between her Thanksgiving and Christmas visits we decided to make New Years our Angle Christmas.
Everyone arrived on New Years Eve afternoon and of course like any other arrival day the boys were in full blur mode soaking up each other's company. I can't imagine how blurry next Christmas will be with 5 Angle grandsons on the move. Oh don't worry... I'm not having twins! My sister, Elizabeth, is expecting her third boy in late May. What an exciting year 2010 will be welcoming two new baby boys into our family and how cool that they will be so close in age! My dad took some great belly pics of me and my sister together that I will have to share soon. I knew at some point we'd be belly buddies!
Jackson and Sean Thomas blurring by on the 4 wheeler! After present opening, we enjoyed a fondue dinner together, complete with the chocolate fondue fountain for dessert. Around 8 o clock we held a mock countdown for the boys in an attempt to save the rest of the evening for adult time which proved successful. The rest of the evening was spent visiting and playing new games we got for Christmas. It was a long travel day for the Martins, a long first day off bed rest for me, and a long afternoon of boy induced blurred vision so by 11 I have to admit that most of us were crashing, but we held in there until 12 to bring in the new year.
Ready to open more presents!
Ringing in the New Year!

On New Years Day we took the boys to see the new Alvin and the Chipmunks movie and then that evening my Uncle and Aunt joined us for another fun family dinner of pizza making. It was so fun adorning our homemade pizzas with the most yummy of toppings. Jackson loved this but his tummy was so full from eating all the toppings while making it that he wasn't too into the cooked slice.

Pizza making will definitely be repeated with this crowd. So much fun!

What a wonderful way to start 2010 surrounded by the love of my family! And what a wonderful year this will be!
