Blessings

Jackson reminds us at every meal to say our blessing before we begin eating. He learned this little blessing at school this year and insists on saying it by himself as soon as everyone arrives to the table. It is such a wonderful start and end to our day to see him thank the "Lor" for our blessings. Jackson is such a sweet soul and I just had to share this special video with everyone.

And speaking of blessings... After our nightly blessings, snuggled together in his bed he looked up at me, took my face in his hands and said " Yous a beautiful girl, Mama. Let's visit." And then we proceeded to have a long in depth discussion about superheroes and baby brother coming. Of course I think the "let's visit" part of his statement was a ploy to keep me in there longer because it had been several nights since my contractions had allowed me to put him down, but there was no way I could refuse his sweet request after being called a "beauftiful girl." It doesn't get any better than that!
